Summary
Cornelia Odile Blant, the neglected ‘wicked wife’ of Duke Blant, is given a second chance after a tragic death. Returning to seven years prior—while pregnant with the child she lost—she resolves to leave her indifferent husband and the abusing household to protect her baby and start a new life.
